Roller coasters, Pakistani food, dated 3D rides, and animal portraiture. You know, the usual.
Hello all! I’m back from a very fun and stomach-destroying trip to Florida with Kumail’s family, where we lived it up at Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure, ate tons and tons of spicy food, and played hours of ping pong. We rode every major coaster and 3d ride at both parks, and Universal, may I say something?
Ummmm, the Terminator 2 ride that mixes 3d video with live people pretending to be the people in the 3d video, namely Linda Hamilton, the Governator, and Edward Furlong? We’re not buying it. It’s a bit dated and has to ignore both the current state of the actors (MIA, governor, and drug addict, respectively), as well as the fact that any of the other Terminator movies happened. And as much as we all want to do that, it’s not possible.
But I digress, every other ride was completely amazing, especially Dueling Dragons and the Spiderman ride. Oh! I also loved the Men in Black ride (which may become a generic “alien fighting ride” as more and more parents have to explain to their kids what the Men In Black are). The point is, I highly suggest getting on a roller coaster as a grownup.
Anyway, I have lots of things to catch myself and all of you on, but for now, if you live in Brooklyn and have a pet that you adore, you should get a portrait done at Brooklyn Pawtraits.

Pay close attention to the dog on the right. It will soon be art.

Voila!
Are we seriously thinking about getting one of Bagel? Of course we are.
