Do not provoke the homeless
Here’s a funny ad for 92 Y Tribeca about advice for tourists from New Yorkers. It’s got David Cross, Janeane Garofalo, Dave Hill, and Kumail!
Two sideburns, one comedian
Adding to the surreality of all the wonderful crazy amazing things that have been happening for Kumail in the comedy world (this has been one hell of a year people), I present to you two reaction videos of people watching Kumail’s College Humor set online.
Here’s Kumail’s set
Jump for the reaction videos. Who knew Kumail would one day reach the stratospheric levels of Two Girls One Cup?
Ask a Comedian
It’s time for the next installment of the mind-bendingly popular series “Ask a Comedian” where I ask a few comedians I know the same random question.
Today we have hot stuff comedian Kumail Nanjiani, subject of a recent NY Times profile, who you can watch on Letterman tonight (DO IT!). Best of all, he is married to me. The question (again):

There’s a doll being made of you- What tiny little accessories would it come with, and/or what would it say when you pull the string? (Yep, there’s a string.)
Jump to see his answer!!

So proud. I love this man. Kumail on Kimmel last night.
(on a side note, Brooke Shields walked by me in the green room, and I literally swooned)
La Fin de Semana!
There are so many things for you to do this weekend. SO MANY.
Let’s start with the reason one of my oldest BFFs, Amber, is in town this weekend- to go see the Dead Milkmen at the Warsaw! How ridiculous did I feel that an Atlanta girl had the scoop on shows in Brooklyn? But she’s always been cooler than me.

See?
But now onto the self promotion.
First, on Saturday night at midnight, is another rip-roarin’ episode of Game Bros. LIVE! with Thomas and Kumail! This show is going to be awesome as usual, so come on down to the UCB this Saturday at midnight!! Sign up for tix here.
Then on Sunday, when you’re feeling introspective, you should come on down to Word Bookstore on Franklin St in Brooklyn for Bad Dating Habits I Learned from the Movies, the workshop that I’ll be doing with my girl Angela and whoever else wants to come out and play with us! We’ll talk about all the rules of dating that rom-coms taught us, and how they end up making us more miserable than listening to the Titanic theme. Go here to find out more details, and email brooklynlovesmarts@gmail.com to RSVP.
In between all that fun you’re having, follow me on Twitter! I don’t even know what that means! http://www.twitter.com/thegynomite
Video Games. Hilarity. Nostalgia. Live. Tomorrow!!!
Just to give you a heads up, the Game Bros. are back at UCB this month for another episode of Game Bros. LIVE!!! This month the guys welcome guests Justin Tyler, Pete LePage, and Alex Zalben of The Comic Book Club, which is a weekly comic book/comedy show at The PIT that is hardcore and hilarious.
So come for the nerdery, and stay for the funnery!!
Saturday night at midnight! UCB Theater! Go here to reserve seats!

Shameless plugging!!
I just wanted to show you two articles that the love of my life/Bageldaddy is featured in this week:
First, Gelf Magazine, who calls him “The Pakistani Prince of Comedy“, and then New York Magazine, who picked him and nine other comics to perform in front of each other and then discuss it. Plus, they produced this cool shot of him.

As Gelf says, “It’s Kumail’s world, we just LOL in it.”
You know what time it is…..
It’s Game Bros. time!!! Tonight, 8pm at Crash Mansion on Bowery, the boys will be doing their thing at a new venue and a new time. This show is being presented by Comedy Central and will feature Jason Sudeikis from SNL, talking shop and attempting to beat his previous Marble Madness record. So come on down!
